After more testing it seems that it only occurs when running under VirtualBox as a guest. this looks like an upstream bug of QtQuickControls Can confirm this bug in VirtualBox Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition - Stable Branches Plasma: 5.11.4 Frameworks: 5.41.0 Qt: 5.9.2 Kernel 4.10.0-40-generic Type: 64-bit Cannot reproduce. There have been a lot of fixes for this type of thing recently, so let's call it fixed. |
Created attachment 104602 [details] Screen shot of truncated fonts Forcing a 120 dpi font setting seems to truncate the font in text appearing within widget dialogue boxes. However, it doesn't seem to happen in dialogue boxes elsewhere in the system or in any apps that I've used. The attached screenshot shows two dialogue boxes where the font has been truncated (one is weather forecast settings and other is pager settings).
