Installed on windows 7 64 bit with and without administrator permission and does not open; was able to install in safe mode with purchased activation code and did stay open. MSE, MBAE, Cryptoprevent, BD antiransomware,Zemana antilogger all disabled for reinstallatons in normal windows.
Regseeker used to remove leftover keys and residual files deleted using locate32 for last install.
Some conflict is force closing or preventing opening of gcompris 0.70 x 64. Or some component is needed.

Fixes or workarounds for a non coder?

Hi,

can you try http://gcompris.net/download/qt/windows/gcompris-qt-0.71-win32.exe.
It's almost the same version as the 0.70 one except a console should open too, maybe we'll have interesting information on it.

can you try: http://gcompris.net/download/qt/windows/gcompris-qt-0.81-win64-gcc.exe
It uses software renderer instead of openGL that was causing some crashes, maybe it will fix yours.

Feel free to try the last version in gcompris.net/download/qt/windows/gcompris-qt-0.90-win64-gcc.exe and reopen the bug with more information if it still does not work.
