Screen shot of update on March 12th.

I use kst everyday to look at data written in dirfile format. Suddenly, kst will no longer open dirfiles. Using kst version 2.0.8.3~3098~35~ubuntu12.04.1. If this update of libgetdata does not work with the 12.04 LTS version of kst, then you should revert to the previous version of libgetdata for precise that worked fine.

I suggest to report this to Ubuntu developers, who maintain the LTS support.

The problem is that libgetdata 0.10.0-0~32 is not compatible with the latest version of kst (2.0.8.3~3098~35) available in the kst-plot ppa for
ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I see that an attempt was made to compile kst version 2.0.8.3~3175~38 for ubuntu 12.04 at the kst-plot ppa which would
presumably be compatible, but it failed. Until you are able to compile this newer version of kst, you should revert to version 0.9.4.0~28 of the
libgetdata package in the ppa for 12.04. I see this as a ppa issue rather than an Ubuntu issue. Please correct me if I am wrong here.

If this is about PPAs, and not official LTS updates, then ignore comment #1.

Precise is no longer supported, so I guess it is too late to fix this.
