Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.08.0a to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging. I've tested with 19.08.1 AppImage. I've opened 2 instances. Created a folder in one instance and added a video file to it. Dragging and dropping the folder the other instance gives a message that "No valid clip to insert". Kdenlive does not crash anymore. Issue seems fixed. |
