Ctrl+M does not work, I do see the toolbar but clicking on Full Screen button does nothing. Ctrl+Shift+F isn't working either. See short video (you won't see mouse pointer so just look at the Full Screen button) https://youtu.be/KFJ9sKPSv2E I just installed MATE desktop in my system but it did not help. The window is still in fullscreen mode and I don't know how to switch the mode OFF. If I right click on any other window I see move and resize options available but they are inactive for the digiKam window. Terminal does not show any error. Any ideas? https://youtu.be/FJnjZID0k1U From icon view contextual menu, it must have an option to switch off fullscreen mode... You can see it on the video. None of the available options work. I also was experiencing the same problem with 5.4. I upgraded to 5.5 and had the same issue. I deleted the rc files in .config/ and the issue went away. I am not sure what settings were causing the problem though. If it happens again I'll copy the rc files somewhere else and diff them against the new ones created by the application. Are you on Cinnamon? I went back to KDE and this never happens again Yes, Cinnamon on Mint 18.1. I had the same problem Digikam 5.5. It appears that in the .config/digikamrc two settings affect this in the section [General Settings] Height 1024=1024 Width 1280=1280 When I replaced the values with approx half the value evrything worked correctly. If it doesn't work for you delete or rename the digikamrc. What's about this problem if you use official Linux AppImage bundle instead system package ? Gilles Caulier This is reproducible using current digiKam 7.0.0-beta2 pre-release installar for Windows ? https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Gilles Caulier AppImage linux bundle i want mean, sorry... I want to know if the problem is reproducible using current Linux AppImage bundle of digiKam 7.0.0-beta2 pre-release available here : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Gilles Caulier digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published: https://www.digikam.org/news/2020-07-19-7.0.0_release_announcement/ We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version. Best Regards Gilles Caulier I can confirm that running the 7.1.0 x64 AppImage version on Ubuntu 18.10 with Cinnamon desktop, I cannot reproduce the issue. |
