Juk still uses Qt3 support classes, and there is an old branch 'nokde3' to remove those. This task needs to be finished and merged, before porting from Qt4 to Qt5 can start. Best regards, Alberto I still love JuK but I'm the last active developer on it and I've not had the time needed to port it over, let alone improve it. I keep toying with the idea of doing a re-write from scratch of a very simple facsimile of the JuK we love (playlists, songs in each playlist, probably not much else). Maybe that would make it possible, but otherwise I don't know what to say. :( I agree too, Juk has excellent functionality! Have you considered putting it out on planetkde.org looking for a new maintainer? Pitching that it would be a great way for someone new wanting to contribute to KDE and wanting a place to start? Cut-off date has passed, JuK has been ported and is still part of KDE Applications. Closing. Thanks Kacper for your porting efforts! |
