Plasma 5.9.2 on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, kate 16.12.2-1.1


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kate or Kwrite and open a document
2. Scroll to some part of the document
3. Close Kate or Kwrite
4. Open that same document in Kate or Kwrite again


EXPECTED RESULTS
The document is opened, displaying the same place you were looking when you closed it


ACTUAL RESULTS
The document is opened and the very beginning is displayed.


REGRESSION
Happens in both Kate and Kwrite. Gedit does remember the position, which is a nice feature.
