This sounds similar to the issue in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376344 Can you confirm? Yes, I can confirm. I notice it : - When there are files or directories in the shared folder, I can't don't have write access to the root of the shared folder. - When the shared folder is empty (no files, no folders), then I have write acces to the root of the shared folder. - In subfolders of the shared folder, I almost always have write access.
