Description of problem:

    The slideshow in Gwenview does not stop when one leaves the image and goes
    back to the overview with the ESC key.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

    gwenview 16.08.2 1.fc25

How reproducible:

    Always

Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Go into full screen mode
    2. Start a slideshow in some directory
    3. Press ESC to go back to the overview
    4. Wait a few seconds

Actual results:

    After a couple of seconds, the selection of the image in the overview
    jumps, the slideshow seems to be still active.

    When opening another image, the slideshow will also continue and keep
    jumping.

    At least when changing the directory, the slideshow stops.

Expected results:

    Slideshow should stop when pressing ESC.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0 (the latest released version)?

Yes, still exactly the same issue with 25.08.
