Thank you for your bug report/feature request. Unfortunately this bug will never be fixed or the feature never implemented. The bug report/feature request will be closed. This is the task of a image viewer or slideshow program not a file manager. Quite frankly Im a little surprised over the answer given as to why this feature should never appear in konqi. Quote: "This is the task of a image viewer or slideshow program not a file manager" - but if this were true, konqi should hardly display any images at all since this is the task of an image viewer. Ive been using KDE since 1.X days, and I *highly* miss this feature in konqueror. I use konqueror as my only file manager, and often I find myself clicking back and forth through pictures taken by my digicam. Why cant I just press "space" for example, and then konqi goes directly to the next picture in the folder. The norwegian webbrowser Opera does this, both locally and as a webbrowser (!) Highly efficient when browsing image folders on a webpage. No need to press back between each picture. You just press "space" and the next picture in the folder is displayed. I urge you to reconsider this feature, as I strongly believe it should be present in konqi - both for local viewing and internet browsing. |
