Description i9i7 2017-02-21 07:21:22 UTC
If there is a notification popup, it gets rearranged in the Present Windows effect. This doesn't make sense, since the notifications aren't full program windows, and are more associated with the panel, from a UX standpoint. These notification popups should stay in their spot.

Notifications such as "VPN connection activated" from the network manager.

I just tried with a 5.8 version on X11 and there I'm also not able to reproduce.

Could you provide a screenshot?

Is there a screenshot tool you would suggest that can work while Present Windows is active?

Anyway, I think that this may have been fixed in a very recent update, since I no longer see it if I use notify-send. However, there are still two related issues. The notification disappears when Present Windows is active (a problem), but it is still visible (and misplaced) in the combined Desktop Grid/Present Windows effect.

Ok, then I'm setting this bug as worksforme. For the other issues: please report new bugs.
