Description miku84 2017-02-16 08:57:20 UTC
On X I have 2 virtual desktops, but I cannot see and use the 2nd in wayland.
In wayland I even have 1 desktop in the systemsettings, on X 2pcs.

Also, the virtual desktop widget is not showing on the panel on wayland, only in edit mode.

So it is not supported? I did not found anything about it, that is why I reported the bug.

I have the same problem.

Thats a widget problem i guess. Your second virtual desktop exists, you can use keyboard shortcuts to get there, thats what i do.

Yes that is known issue, for instance see : https://community.kde.org/Plasma/5.9_Errata#Wayland

Can confirm/reproduce this bug in:

Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition Unstable Branches 20170813
KDE Plasma Version: 5.10.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.37.0
Qt Version: 5.9.1
Kernel Version: 4.10.0-32-generic
OS Type: 64-bit

This is tracked in https://phabricator.kde.org/T4457

As we don't need to track in two different trackers I dare to mark as RESOLVED/LATER. As a current workaround you can use the desktop grid (e.g. Ctrl+F8).
