Which operating system? Which OpenGL drivers? Which tablet drivers? If you can make it to the settings dialog, try disabling the OpenGL canvas. (In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #1) > Which operating system? Which OpenGL drivers? Which tablet drivers? If you > can make it to the settings dialog, try disabling the OpenGL canvas. I am using Windows 7 and I have a Wacom Bamboo Tablet my driver is fine but the whole program is so slow. I'm sorry, but given that hundreds of thousands of people are using Krita and that for them it works fine, it must be something specific to your setup. Some security software, like sandboxie, makes Krita really slow. Some graphics drivers make Krita really slow, in which case you need to disable opengl as Christoph has suggested, and sometimes people have the stabilizer enabled and don't know about that... Are you by any chance using 32 bits floating point images? In any case, this is a user support question, not a bug: krita runs fine in general, just not on your setup, over which we don't have any influence. We can try to figure out what's up, but bugzilla is not the place for that, bugzilla is for reporting bugs that can be fixed in our code. |
