Hi. I received an update on gentoo today, but these 2 packages fails to compile. 
Attached build.logs

Is this bug system is updated? Only 5.4.x version listed as latest.

As to gentoo :)
It compiles fine here.

The update 16.12.2 also failed, until I enabled -fPIC.
without PIE with fPIC all compiled fine.
