Using installation iso from here: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/14.04.5/release/kubuntu-14.04.5-desktop-i386.iso.torrent

1- Burn iso to USB drive
2- Boot USB and install to hard drive (1 TB SATA)
3- Installer (ubiquity?) gets to the end and is stuck on screen "The installer will finish soon. We hope you enjoy Kubuntu." Rebooting leads to unbootable hard drive.(blank screen)

I've tried two different hard drives (both 1TB). Same result.
I've used the 'entire disk' with and without LVM options during the GUI installation.

Note. 32bit version is being used intentionally.
