Description nick 2017-02-03 06:37:33 UTC
Regarding the menu showing the list of windows when you click on the task manager of a grouped application (eg FF or Chrome windows).

In previous versions <5.7 all windows would be listed.

In recent versions, including the latest 5.9.0, only 21 windows are shown, the 22nd is cut off at the bottom, and there is no means to scroll the list or navigate it to access the rest.

There is ample room on my desktop to render a taller menu. However, in some cases the full desktop height is still not enough to show the full list.

Please at least make it scrollable or cascadable/expandable (perhaps like konqy's bookmarks) --and preferrably don't needlessly crop the menu's height to less than the visible desktop--certainly not to some arbitrary only-show-21 windows limit--at least not w/o a means to see the rest also.

The list is meant to be scrollable. Please add a screenshot.

unscrollable window list

For me the limit is 12 windows visible in the list.
Just upgraded to plasma 5.9, qt 5.8.
Was the same in plasma 5.8, qt 5.7, but iirc all windows were visible in plasma 5.7.

Just updated to 5.9.1 and there is still no scroll bar for me.

Same here. Can anyone point me to info on debugging plasma? Is killing plasmashell and relaunching it from a terminal the only way to get logs?
