The bug

I can't get the audio to play and it will not show up in the timeline

I'm having a somewhat similar problem on Windows 10. I can get the audio in, but it lagged really bad when I pressed play and started repeating itself and going slowly even though I wasn't scrubbing. When I was scrubbing it seemed to be inaccurate. The test was with an animation I made before updating Krita to 3.1.2 and the audio clip was an mp3. The audio clip was about 5 or 6 seconds long.

For now I went back to 3.1.1 because I started having other issues just drawing. I may do more experimenting with different audio and such later if more details (and maybe a screen recording?) would help.

The release notes stated clearly that we were not capable of getting audio support to work on Linux. I will put this as confirmed for now, but do read the release notes next time, we try very hard to make them nice and readable :(

@yuknowmyemailnow@gmail.com please report those issues with 'just drawing' or the other ones because I cannot tell what might be causing issues with drawing from here :(

Eoin fixed this one in commit 3845a10d659aa48603bfb19b737f714177e0f14e on master. I think he forgot to tag this bug in the commit message. =]
