I found out, that KDE Neon will run on Generation 1 hardware, at least when freshly installed. I did not manage to make an Ubuntu VM created on VirtualBox run successfully, as it somehow ruined the video mode when it switched to the login screen. Video mode does not adapt to the window and there is no sound. I would probably need an RDP server within the Linux client to achieve that. Nevertheless, Generation 2 support would be really nice! Is this still an issue in the latest Neon based on 18.04? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
