(using with dolphin) 
kio-gdrive does not accept authentication token from Google Drive. 
when i try to log in with gmail, a log-in dialog keeps popping up....

unfortunately kio-gdrive does not create a log file so i can't give you detailed information....

Yes, sounds like a duplicate of #373402. Is your kwallet open?

no it wasn't :)  i guess gdrive can't work without kwallet.
maybe let gdrive save authentication token to configuration folder, 
you don't need kwallet....

Yes, kwallet is required (OAuth tokens are equivalent to passwords, i.e. they grant access to your gdrive files). I need to rework this code though, possibly when KAccounts gets integrated.
