Hello. I just recently updated Krita to version 3.1.1 from version 3.0.1 and it now crashes whenever I try to open a file or create a new document.

3.0.1 allowed me to work on my drawings, but the brushes were a little glitchy with my tablet and had a lag. Also, the program would crash whenever I closed a document.

I don't know if it helps any, but my computer is an acer laptop with 64 bit windows 7.

Hi Anita,

If Krita 3.0.1 crashed whenever you closed a document, I'm beginning to suspect that there are issues with your laptop. Can you try to disable opengl (settings/configure krita/display) and see if that helps with 3.1.1? If that makes a difference, please tell us the exact model of your laptop.
