Description kednar 2017-01-27 09:59:53 UTC
To be able to change the default zoom when using CTRL+MMB to box zoom.

Alternatively, add a different shortcut combination for box zoom like CTRL+Shift+MMB.

I mean the default behaviour of the Zoom tool, which is to draw a rectangle and then zoom into that area. How is the proper name of that behaviour?

There is a dedicated zoom tool in the toolbox which has the behaviour you request. May be we can request for ability to assign shortcut for that tool? then you can assign a shortcut for it like 'z' and get the required functionality which is already present :)
