screenshot of the empty task manager after the unplugging
|
Created attachment 103632 [details] screenshot of the empty task manager after the unplugging I have a dual screen setup with a panel at the bottom of each screen. Both panels contain a Task Manager applet that is set to display only tasks from the current activity and current screen. When I unplug the secondary monitor, all applications "migrate" to the laptop screen, but the task manager on this screen becomes empty (even the tasks that were previously on the laptop screen are removed). All the tasks appear for a short period during the transition period, but then the task manager becomes empty. If I uncheck the "Show only tasks from current screen" option, then all tasks are shown again in the task manager. Reconnecting the secondary display "fixes" the task manager on the laptop screen.
