Not a bug. Fade from/to black does exactly this. Use a transition, such as composite and tranform, with keyframes and ramp up/down opacity. Please read the manual first. Or ask on G+. Or in forum. Thank you for your cooperation. But selecting Text clip, if I click on Fade to/from Black there is an effect added to the Effect List, but if I click on Fade In/Out nothing happens, should at least be grey out for Text Clip to instruct the user there is no action associated with it? Alexandre, go to G+ or forum in order to ask for help. This is a bug tracker, not a help forum. Do not spam the bug tracker, making our work unnecessarily complicated. Thank you for your cooperation.
