Where does this screenshot come from? Sorry, I though the title made it clear enough. it’s in: Configure Dolphin → Trash Thanks, that's the kcm from kio. What about "kcmshell5 kcmtrash"? Can you attach a screenshot of that window? Created attachment 103509 [details]

Here the text is only slightly cut. Anyway most of time it’s used through Dolphin.
Thanks. If you resize that window to the minimum size allowed, it's cut the same way as Dolphin, right? I can’t shrink the standalone KCM because of the buttons on the bottom. Right. I can reproduce the issue also with the Italian translation, so I think we can confirm this. The kcm could also use a global re-design, btw ;) So now, the appearance of kcm in Dolphin is the same as standalone, so it’s acceptable in my opinion. Should I leave this open because it’s still a little bit cropped (only the last letter), or for other languages? I checked just now with latest stable version of Dolphin and it’s fixed. |
Created attachment 103485 [details] Text which exceed list size in French In some languages, here French in the screenshot, the string exceed the list size. It may be simply be written without “de la corbeille” (“from trash”), but it seems better if we can simply remove the weird tabulation of the drop-down list, so that any translation which is a bit longer than the English one is not cut.
