I was testing wayland with the lates kernel 4.9.2, switched from kwin to xfwm4 (by running "dpkg-reconfigure xfwm4") to see if it magically solves some of the issues i am having.
I realized my mistakes.......

After rebooting and login to x11 session kwin crashed eventhough xfwm4 was running and working ok.

Also drkonqui said i was missing 2 debug packages, kwin_x11 and libQt5Core.
I have installed kwin-dbg, there is no "dbg" for the other. So i am not this is bactrace is good enough.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Yes debug packages are missing. From what we see it crashes when trying to read a config file. Maybe incorrect permissions in the home directory?
