When dragging windows in the grid view from one desktop to another thumbnail view disappearing. This behavior is seems to affect most of the apps.
Steps to reproduce:
1. open firefox(or chromium), konsole and kmail
2. toggle grid view
3. start dragging one of those apps from one desktop to another
You will see that kmail thumbnail is always visible allowing you to see where you are dragging that app, while firefox and konsole thumbnails are disappearing.

System Settings -> Desktop Behavior -> Desktop Effects -> Desktop Grid

Default setting to toggle desktop grid view - Ctrl+F8
