black square the size of a quarter tiled window appears in right hand corner when using desktop cube workspace switching effect. using amd radeon hd 6310 with open source drivers

Better seen here maybe https://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=500732Screenshot20170626123531.png as trying to screenshot the cube-effect gives weird results.
