Description Kusi 2017-01-08 13:30:42 UTC
After opening the Google Photos import dialog in Digikam, there's no way to reread again new albums from Google Photos. Neither the refresh button nor closing/reopening the import dialog will update the albums. If you create a new album on photos.google.com while digikam is open, you need to restart digikam in order to make the album visible

kipi plugins 5.5.0 do not exist yet... Do you mean git/master ?

I tried digikam master and wrongly assumed I was also using kipi master. But no, I was using kipi-plugins 5.2 provided with current Opensuse Leap. I'll correct it.

no. If you use DK Software Collection repository here, and if all dependencies are resolve, DK and kipi-plugins will be compiled and installed. I'm sure, i use it :

https://www.digikam.org/download/GIT

Take a look in README for more details :
