hi,
i made a fresh install on leap 42.2 
wizard shows that all codecs are installed yet still can't render..
I tried all the render presets, non of them works, the render crashes imideatly after start with just a message that the render crashed, no more info.
would be thankful for any help.

This is most likely a packaging issue, you should ping the package maintainer. As a workaround, you can consider trying our AppImage package that provides the latest Kdenlive version and should run on any distro:
