Are you using X server 1.19? Yes: - Xorg 1.19.0 - Plasmashell 5.8.5 - Fedora 25 And I figured out that switching to another virtual console and switching back unfreezes plasmashell like "PC LX" mentioned in bug 373180 so this seems to be a dup of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373180 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 373180 *** |
Created attachment 103264 [details] trigger plasmashell freeze by moving cursor over launcher items Plasmashell very often freezes without a reason. I could trigger it quite often by moving the mouse over launcher items (see attached video clip). But now I can't trigger it anymore. CPU load is quite normal. KDE is quite unusable because of this.
