Please extinguish "thumbbar".

Hi:

Space in editor view is limited.

I'd like to permanently thumbbar, which I take as annoying.

To detail better: I do not want to see this thumbbar anymore in no context, under no condition.

Is there a reliable way to achieve this?

Thank you-

Axel

In main editor menu, use option "Setup/View Thumbbar (CTRL+T)"

Sorry, my mistake:

This hint does NOT work!!

I have to click away this ( .. ) thumbbar again and again. Why this
setting does not stay permanent?

Isn't there a PERMANENT setting to make this thing disappear???

Config-setting etc.?

Please!!!

Axel

It must do. It work perfectly here. this can be a packaging problem...

Try to use the universal Linux AppImage bundle for digiKam 5.4.0 pre-release instead system based digiKam. It available here :

Gilles,

the concept of AppImage ist great, it works with me. Thank you!
I forwarded this pre-release for testing purposes to some friends.

Thank you.

DigiKam V. 5.4. seems to have some difficulties with panoramas- they
always(?) stop without finishing the very panorama.

Astonishingly, I can find a pre-version under temporary-png-files.

Best,

Axel
