excuse me for my bad english.
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS amd64
I have an issue when editing a video. My computer always totally freeze when I will using composite and transform transition to edit my video. My mouse and keyboard are hang and just can do "REISUB" or press and hold power button to reboot my computer.
Thanks a lot for fixing this issue.

What graphics card and drivers are you using? A complete system crash strongly indicates that this is a driver issue, but not a bug in MLT. Which version of MLT are your using? And from which ppas did you install Kdenlive and MLT from?

Installing ubuntu-restricted-extras fix the problem. I don't know why.

This could be related to ffmpeg decoding and encoding.

Anyway, glad to hear that you could fix it.
