Hi,

here are error messages I get when I use spectacle:

$ spectacle
QObject::connect: invalid null parameter
Using Wayland-EGL
qrc:/JobDialog.qml:67: TypeError: Cannot read property 'Layout' of null
qrc:/JobDialog.qml:66: TypeError: Cannot read property 'Layout' of null

This is harmless. This output is produced by LibPurpose's initialisation, not Spectacle.
