Description Nikolai 2016-12-27 09:05:27 UTC
At the start of the installation when asked to choose partitioning scheme and "Guided whole disk encrypted lvm" is chosen installation freezing... While choosing other two options installation progresses as expected.
I don't know from which snapshot this bug occurred, but know for sure it wasn't there all the time. During installation (on my work machine) that i did some month ago i did installed with this very option (guided encrypted) and it went just fine.

PS I did marked this bug as critical because in my opinion encrypted disk is a major privacy enhancement without which (imho) large portion of a privacy minded users will not use Neon.

Forgot to mention it... it holds for both:
20161222-1018 user edition and
20161222-1019 user LTS editions.
I haven't tried with dev edition.

not like anybody cares (apparently), but at some point this was fixed.
