the canvas doesn't refresh or show my cursor when drawing. I have to draw blindly, then click on a layer to get it to show up. Not sure if it's my computer's specs or not.

64-bit Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU @2.20GHz
8GB RAM

Hi John,

Please disable opengl. Your display driver is broken, which seems common for some intel display drivers, but there's nothing we can do about that ourselves. We don't have a device with broken drivers, so we cannot even begin to investigate a work-around.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'd that an option within the
program or do I need to do that actually on my driver level
