(Krita 3.1.1 - Ubuntu 14.04)

If you choose a brush preset from the (main toolbar >) "Choose brush preset" dialog window, it will not be remembered at the next start of Krita:

1) Start Krita.
2) Go to: (main toolbar) > "Choose brush preset" (the brush preset window will open).
3) Select any of the brush presets from the list.
4) Restart Krita.

Actual Results: The last selected brush preset will not be active at the next start.
Expected Results: It should be active at the next start of Krita.

Note 1: No problem when choosing the brush preset from the "Brush Presets" docker: it will be correctly remembered at next start of Krita.

Sorry, I was mistaken. I cannot confirm this issue -- it works fine for me.

Hi Boudewijn, thanks.
I'm guessing the issue arises with pen tablets, no problem here too if I use the mouse to choose the brush.
In attachment is a quick video showing the issue using the pen tablet (Wacom Intuos 4).

Hm... No, I cannot reproduce that either. I'll get a Ubuntu vm and check whether it's perhaps yet another Unity bug.

Confirm. The preset that was one to the left from the desired preset is selected after reloading.

Here it's the preset before the last preset that gets selected, on Ubuntu 16.10 with unity. But again, not reproducible on any other system.

I'm still able to reproduce this in Krita 4.1.0 (see the new video).

It happens at restart: a) if I never lifted the pen from the tablet and b) regardless of whether I had choosen the brush from the docker or topbar.

    1) pick a preset + paint
    2) choose another preset + paint
    3) close and restart without lifting the pen from the tablet

Actual Results: at restart I'm presented with a different preset.
