Konsole with close button |
||
Konsole does not have a close button for a tab, you can right-click it and chose "Close Tab". (For consistency with other apps like Kate, I guess that it is better to show the close button on the right though.) Created attachment 102870 [details]
Konsole with close button
I has a close button (you can turn it on...) - check my SS There are trade offs - mostly dealing w/ space - if someone want to provide a patch we can look at it. This is fixed in recent versions |
Created attachment 102814 [details] Screenshot - MacTerminal Makes no sense if this button is not on the tab. Take for example what happens if I have 5 tabs open and I want to close the second one - I have to activate it an then I have to move the mouse over to the right side to close the tab - bad UX. Instead of having the application icon on each tab it would be much nicer to have a close button.
