Description Marcel Partap 2016-12-12 12:30:24 UTC
I have created a tab with a single line chart onto which I placed /mem/physical|swap/used|free|etc metrics. To watch impact of actions in realtime, I set horizontal scale (pixels per time period) to 1, tab update interval to 0.1 sec. It seems to work for a while, then stops. Seems to pick up randomly, sometimes zeroes out. Restarting may help or not, with sensor overlay reporting "(error)".
What is going on.
Just updating to 5.8.4 but my qt stack might as well stop working so reporting this first.

ksysguard 5.8.2 & 5.8.4 side-by-side

Well, all updates proceeded without a hitch. The problem however persists in the newer version, and even synchroniously with the older instance, so I guess it is the data gathering that is stalling. Saad. So sad.

I cannot reproduce this issue here.

Does this error still happens on your system with the current version of ksysguard?

It actually seems not to occur anymore (tested in 5.14.5-1). 👌
