Image thumbnails on desktop don't keep their aspect ratio.
When viewing Desktop in Dolphin everything is fine.
It's tripping my OCD quite much. Especially when image on desktop is showing someone's face.
Changing icon size is not fixing this issue.

Reproduced on two different PCs.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable folder view (icons on whole desktop area)
2. Copy some images to desktop, say someone's selfie
3. Watch their face get squished on thumbnail

Reproduced with jpeg.

At the top you can see desktop icons, squished. I added Dolphin and Gwenview to highlight the issue.

Same issue here, for a long time now. I don't believe that image thumbnails on the desktop have rendered with the proper aspect ratio since I was using kde 4.x. In Plasma 5, they have always rendered as 1x1 so far :(
