select a section of ill-indented code and hit reformat source
-> the code is not formatted at all

set the source formatter to artistic style and repeat
-> code is formatted

formatting the entire file (when nothing is selected) works fine

Apparently this works in never KDevelop. Can't reproduce this using KDevelop from 5.0 branch.

Please try with the 5.1.0 Beta AppImage.
