Description Tom Littauer 2016-12-02 01:31:17 UTC
This is in freshly installed OpenSuSE LEAP 42.2

Previous versions of Akregator has a combo box that allowed the user to elect to see all messages or just the ones that haven't been read yet.

This combo box seems to be missing.

Am I just not seeing it or is it really gone?

I used the option to quickly scan messages and then come back later in the day or week when I have time to read. Yes, you flag unread messages with a different color but with busy feeds it's not efficient to scroll through looking for a different color.

Lack of the option is a deal breaker for my use of the product.

It's there, but not obvious. That media-player-like icon in the search field is clickable and opens the old context menu.

You're absolutely correct, it wasn't obvious (at least to me) and the response is correct and timely.

Thanks so much.

I like to use defaults wherever I can as it eases upgrade woes so I'm glad I can continue to use Akregator.

I did Google for an answer but didn't spot it. Here's hoping the bug report (and answer) help somebody else.

Failing to address trivial problems like this drives people away from products.

Well done.
