Created attachment 102502 [details] Screenshot of animation After upgrade to Kubuntu 16.10 (KDE 5.7.5), the "Desktop Cube Animation" shows a large uniformly colored area in the top right corner, while the animation is in progress. The size is exactly (?) 1/4 of the screen, and the color of the area changes during animation. When the animation completes, everything is back to normal. I was able to capture the animation with Spectacle -- see attachment. In Kubuntu 16.04 this particular bug was not present, although I did have some other glitches, which are now gone. My desktop system is a Skylake i5-6600 with Asus Z170 mainboard and Intel onboard graphics, connected to a 4K monitor via DP 1.2. I cannot tell if this issue is related to kwin, or the Intel graphics driver or some other low level issue, but I'm happy to provide additional information.
