The delay after right-clicking is caused by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372999 Can you check in the task manager (Ctrl+Esc) if there are multiple Gwenview processes started when you try to open multiple images at once? Before the tumbnailing/caching is finished, Gwenview is not starting. After, one instance starts and shows the icons (small versions of photos). If I try to reproduce this behavior with ~200 photos, I do not have a delay at all. The right-clicking bug has since been resolved as mentioned in comment 1. @Tracy, could you shortly confirm that this bug does no longer exist with a newer version of Dolphin? No response -> closing. Please reopen this bug report if you can still reproduce the behavior with a newer version of Dolphin. Thanks! |
