Ah, its actually already implemented. Its a bit hidden: Disable the notifications for file transfer did it. Can we think about another option, like in Dolphins settings menu? It affects all applications that use KIO, not just Dolphin. It cannot be configured in KIO, though, because it is actually the Plasma shell that decides to override the default progress notifications. So the option to disable it needs to be in Plasma. If you run a different shell, you always get the 'old' dialog. |
