in attempts to (unnecessarily) force the 'OEM' net-config manager GUI (which comes with 42.2 for dumb hicks like me) to connect both of my wlan to home network, and my new ethernet connect simultaneously, when i thought I had finally found 'the sweet spot' among the settings for each, therein, the field where my three desired connections were listed began filling with 8 or more instances of both my wlan connections, repeatedly, multiple instances of my LAN, as well as every other SSID near me which was detected in scans I never wanted but am not learned enough yet to prevent without disabling networking alltogether...  then crashing as a result of buffer overflow, if you were buying me a beer,  just to make a newb-guess.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
