I get the same behaviour. When I restart KMail without/before restarting akonadi I also get a segFault

I have long abandoned Kmail when its (and Akonadi's) issues with gmail became unbearable, I have no current installation of Kmail anymore.
A status of "Abandoned" would be appropriate, but I don't think it exists.
