Created attachment 102268 [details] The widget in two different states of bouncing, plus when menu opened This is about what I call the Plasmashell meta/menu widget. Does anyone has the correct name? Its the three-bars symbol on the desktop, which gives you a menu to: - Refresh Desktop - Add Widgets - Activities - Lock Widgets - Lock Screen - ... On Plasma 5.8.2 (on openSUSE 42.2) moving this widget to the upper right corner of the screen makes it constantly switch between: - just displaying the three bars - three bars PLUS TEXT "Default" (the activity name) Switching happends about two times per second. And the switching resizes the widget, because the text needs more space than those three bars. So it looks like the widget is jumping/bouncing around. Workaround: Move the widget somewhere else or change the activities name to "" (empty String). You can do that via the activities entry in that widgets menu.
