*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 372099 *** Also seeing this on F24 now that we've updated to 5.8.3 (in updates-testing) In my case, I am using a laptop that is connected to an external monitor, where I normally keep the laptop's panel disabled and only use the external monitor. When I login now after the update, it's either (what looks like) a "new activity" screen (i.e. default wallpaper, no panel) or a blank (black) screen where I can only access krunner using alt+space For me this has made using KDE impossible. The bug is fixed in Plasma 5.8.4. |
