Somehow your system has both Wayland and X11 activated. Applications detect the X11 mode, but fail to open the display. This seems to be a common theme of your recent bug reports. Are you using a released version of a distribution so that developers can try to reproduce the issues? I'm using Fedora 25 to make it better. These bugs appears when I logout from LXqt and login to KDE Plasma. #3 ... "QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display ..." is the failure here (I think), hard to say *why* that is happening though. This is nothing we can do about, it needs to be corrected downstream. Is your hostname changing during or shortly after you login? Could be due to sddm issue: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/733 where xauth credentials get invalidated. |
