To clarify, this is about the "Offer shutdown options" setting in Systemsettings->Startup and Shutdown->Session Management, which is ignored by the logout screen since 5.8 (AFAICT). IOW, the logout screen always shows "Restart", "Shutdown" and "Suspend" buttons, even if this setting is disabled. It should only show "Logout" in this case, and hide the others. *** Bug 372175 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** confirmed (fedora using plasma-5.8.3) This is the design. We need to offer a confirmation screen anyway, so the extra options are just in space that would otherwise be blank anyway. I'll tag the VDG team anyway so they're aware of the feedback. |
